Job Description

• We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused, and vibrant Sales Assistant to join our team.

Core Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Order Taking: Welcome guests warmly, guide them through the menu, answer ingredient questions, and accurately take food and beverage orders.
• Upselling & Suggestive Selling: Drive restaurant revenue by actively recommending side dishes, drinks, desserts, or special combos to customers.
• POS Operation: Efficiently process card and electronic payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring all transactions are accurate.
• Front-of-House Coordination: Ensure the dining, counter, and display areas are clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing at all times.
• Order Packaging & Dispatch: Ensure walk-in takeout orders and third-party delivery orders are correctly packed, complete, and handed over promptly.
• Feedback Management: Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating issues to the Restaurant Manager when necessary.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of an OND / NCE.
• Proven experience as a Sales Assistant, Cashier, or Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident, welcoming personality.
• Strong basic math skills for handling cash and POS transactions accurately.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak rush hours (lunch/dinner).
• High standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
