Job Title: Site Carpenter / Furniture Installer (MDF & MFC)
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- Skilled Site Carpenter Installer required for on-site installation of custom and modular furniture, cabinetry, kitchens, wardrobes, and architectural woodwork.
- Strong experience working with MDF and MFC (Melamine Faced Chipboard) is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Install pre-manufactured and custom woodwork (cabinets, panels, shelving, doors, frames, etc.) on residential and commercial sites.
- Perform precise measurements, levelling, fixing, and on-site modifications/adjustments.
- Handle MDF and MFC panels, including cutting, edging, fitting, and finishing.
- Assemble modular systems and coordinate with other trades.
- Conduct quality checks, minor repairs, and maintain a clean, safe site environment.
- Read technical drawings and follow installation plans.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience as a site carpenter or furniture installer.
- Proven hands-on experience working with MDF and MFC materials.
- Strong carpentry skills with hand/power tools and precision fitting.
- Ability to read technical drawings and work in client-occupied environments.
- CSCS card (or equivalent) and physical fitness preferred.
- Reliable, customer-focused, and safety-conscious.
