Job Summary

• An English Teacher is responsible for teaching students reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and literature skills to improve their proficiency in the English language.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver English language and literature lessons.
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, composition, comprehension, and oral communication skills.
• Assess students through assignments, tests, projects, and examinations.
• Encourage reading and critical thinking through literature studies.
• Monitor and report students' academic progress.
• Maintain discipline and create a conducive learning environment.
• Prepare lesson notes and instructional materials.
• Participate in school meetings, extracurricular activities, and professional development programs.
• Communicate with parents regarding students' performance and behavior.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, English Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Teaching certification or license (where required).
