Job Description

• Plays a critical role in safeguarding an organization's assets and ensuring compliance with regulations. This position is vital for identifying potential risks and implementing effective strategies to mitigate them.
• Senior Risk Managers are tasked with overseeing risk assessment processes, evaluating financial and operational risks, and developing risk management policies that align with business goals. As a senior member of the team, they also mentor junior risk staff and work closely with various departments to cultivate a culture of proactive risk management.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies. Key responsibilities include conducting thorough risk assessments, analysing market trends, and preparing risk reports for senior management.
• Must also ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, develop training materials, and lead risk management meetings.
• Additional duties include collaborating with stakeholders to identify risk mitigation opportunities, monitoring the effectiveness of risk controls, and revising policies as necessary.

Requirements

• Experience in risk management, financial analysis, and compliance is essential, with at least 5-7 years in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills are also required.
