Role Description

  • This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Marketing Manager, with flexibility for some work from home.
  • The Sales Marketing Manager will design and execute go-to-market strategies, develop campaigns to drive platform adoption, and manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure.
  • The role involves identifying and nurturing relationships with farmers, aggregators, distributors, retailers, and other ecosystem partners, as well as conducting market research to segment customers and refine value propositions.
  • The Sales Marketing Manager will collaborate with product, operations, and technology teams to align messaging, launch new features, and ensure consistent branding across channels.
  • Daily tasks include setting and tracking sales and marketing KPIs, preparing performance reports and forecasts, coordinating events or webinars, and representing Cafers at industry engagements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Agriculture, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Strong sales, business development, and account management skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience in marketing strategy, campaign planning, and brand positioning, ideally in tech, agritech, or SaaS environments.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing channels such as social media, email marketing, content marketing, and performance analytics.
  • Ability to conduct market research, analyze customer and competitive data, and translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
  • Comfort working with technology-driven products; familiarity with AI, blockchain, or platform marketplaces is an advantage.
  • Experience working with or selling into agriculture, supply chain, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, prioritize effectively, and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
