Job Title: Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain project quality assurance and quality control procedures. conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Review material submissions, test results, inspection reports, and quality records.
- Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions. prepare quality reports and maintain accurate documentation of inspections and quality activities.
- Liaise with project teams, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities on quality-related matters.
- Ensure all construction works comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within the construction industry.
- COREN certification is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, construction standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in conducting inspections, audits, testing, and quality compliance reviews on construction projects.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality documentation/reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to reside and work in Abuja.
