Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary
- We are seeking a result-drivenand experienced Business Development who will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across our interior design, construction, furniture, and fit-out services.
- The successful candidate must be a proactive business developer who can build relationships, generate leads independently, and convert opportunities into revenue-generating projects.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation:
- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
- Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, partnerships, prospecting, and market intelligence.
- Build relationships with architects, real estate developers, property managers, facility managers, corporate organizations, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Identify and pursue opportunities within residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional sectors.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to project award.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits.
- Prepare and present proposals and business presentations.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals.
- Achieve agreed business development and revenue targets.
Market Intelligence & Partnerships:
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
- Develop strategic referral and partnership networks.
- Identify opportunities for expansion into new markets and customer segments.
What Success Looks Like in This Role
- Qualified leads generated
- Strategic partnerships established
- Client meetings secured
- Proposal value generated
- Revenue closed
- Conversion rates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in business development, project sales, corporate sales, construction, interior design, furniture, architecture or related industries.
- Proven ability to generate business opportunities independently.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Experience using CRM tools is an added advantage.
