HMO Officer at Westcare Specialist Hospital

The idea to create Westcare Hospital group was conceived in 1997. This idea was brought to fruition in May 1998 when the first hospital was founded and named Ilogbo central Hospital. The hospital was named after Ilogbo town near Ajangbadi, Ojo LGA of Lagos in which the hospital was situated.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HMO Officer

Location: Egbeda, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilties

• Liaise with HMOs, retainerships, and corporate organizations to confirm patient eligibility and pre-authorizations.
• Ensure proper documentation and processing of bills for HMO and insurance patients.
• Monitor and follow up on all outstanding claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Educate patients on HMO coverage, exclusions, and procedures where necessary.
• Acting as intermediary between our clients and our HMO partners
• Getting of approval codes for eligible patient by filling in the requested services on the HMO portal
• Communicating to HMOs by writing through email for approval and any other required information or care to be given to patients.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor’s Degree with 3 - 5 years experience.
• Applicants must reside within Egbeda and its environs.
