We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, prepare reports, monitor transactions, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills and a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and cash flow
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and financial planning
• Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in an accounting role
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, ATS) is an added advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong communication and reporting skills

Preferred Candidate:

• Must reside in Owerri or be willing to relocate.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
