Description
- We are seeking an experienced FSO Laboratory Technician to support offshore production operations by ensuring crude oil quality, optimizing processes, ensuring environmental compliance, and upholding laboratory excellence.
Key Requirements
- HND / B.Sc. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in upstream Oil & Gas, FPSO/FSO, or offshore production environments
- Strong expertise in crude oil analysis, water treatment, production chemistry, and QA/QC systems
- Experience with laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, spectrophotometers, titrators, viscometers, density meters, and H₂S analyzers
- Knowledge of NUPRC, NOSDRA, ASTM, API, ISO standards
- Valid BOSIET/FOET and OGUK (or equivalent) certifications
What You'll Do:
- Perform laboratory testing and quality control analysis
- Support crude export certification and cargo quality monitoring
- Monitor production chemicals and water treatment performance
- Ensure regulatory and HSE compliance
