We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Battery and Inverter Technician

Location: Benin City, Ekpoma - Edo
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Site Manager

Job Summary

  • The Battery Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of battery systems used in solar power and energy storage solutions.
  • The role ensures optimal battery performance, safety compliance, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, test, and maintain battery systems and related equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve battery faults and performance issues.
  • Monitor battery health, charging cycles, and system efficiency.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance and safety checks.
  • Replace defective batteries and components as required.
  • Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and industry standards.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of solar and energy storage systems.

Requirements

  • OND, HND, or Technical Certification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in battery maintenance, solar energy, or electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of lithium-ion, lead-acid, and other battery technologies.
  • Ability to use testing and diagnostic tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
