Job Title: Digital Communications Officer

Location: Abuja

Role Summary

• We are seeking a Media and Digital Platforms Officer to manage our website, social media platforms, and digital communications.
• The role involves content creation, platform management, online engagement, and supporting digital campaigns to strengthen visibility and impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Update and manage the organization’s website with news, reports, and program content
• Plan, create, schedule, and publish social media content
• Monitor and respond to online engagement across platforms
• Develop digital content including graphics, videos, posts, and stories
• Support campaigns, events, and advocacy communications
• Collect and document field stories, photos, and impact updates
• Track analytics and prepare simple performance reports
• Ensure consistent branding across all digital platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Media, Marketing, PR, IT, or related fields
• 2 - 5 years relevant experience in digital media or social media management
• Experience with WordPress or similar CMS
• Strong knowledge of major social media platforms
• Proficiency in Canva and content creation tools
• Basic photo and video editing skills
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
