Job Title: Sales Operations Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Sales Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day business activities of our mobile devices, phone accessories and Solar (Energy) enterprise.
  • A Sales Operations Manager in a mobile phones, accessories and Solar (Energy) business oversees day-to-day sales operations, supply chain management, and control.
  • They ensure wholesale and retail outlets run efficiently, manage vendor relationships, drive revenue targets, and optimize customer service to maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Supply Chain Management:

  • Maintain optimal stock levels of fast-moving smartphones, tablets, and high-demand accessories (e.g., chargers, cases, screen guards) and Solar to prevent stock-outs.
  • Oversee procurement, customs clearing (for imported products), and secure warehousing/logistics.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and implement strategies to minimize shrinkage, theft, and damage.
  • Sales & Retail Operations: Monitor sales performance across all physical wholesales and retail stores platforms
  • Set and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Team Leads and floor sales

Customer Service & After-Sales Support:

  • Ensure excellent customer experiences, from in-store product demonstrations to after-sales support.
  • Manage the end-to-end warranty claim process, device returns, and repairs in Team Leadership & Administration
  • Train, and mentor retail staff, ensuring they have deep product knowledge and excellent sales techniques.
  • Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and performance-based incentive programs across all locations.
  • Oversee daily cash reconciliations, petty cash management, and revenue reporting.
  • Monitor budgets and identify cost-reduction opportunities to maximize profit margins.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 - 12 years of progressive operational experience, preferably in retail, consumer electronics, or telecommunications.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of supply chain logistics, proficiency with Accounting Software.
  • Competencies: Strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, problem-solving, and the ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc is mandatory.
