Job Title: Front Desk Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  • We are seeking a professional, courteous, and organized Front Desk Officer to manage reception duties and serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, staff, and partners.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming visitors, handling enquiries, managing calls, supporting administrative duties, maintaining front desk records, and ensuring that the reception area reflects a professional image of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients, visitors, applicants, and guests professionally.
  • Attend to enquiries and provide accurate information about the company’s services.
  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls appropriately.
  • Manage reception activities and keep the front desk area neat and organized.
  • Receive and record incoming documents, parcels, and correspondence.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate staff or department.
  • Maintain visitor logs and appointment records.
  • Support administrative duties such as filing, data entry, printing, photocopying, and document organization.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, interviews, and appointments when required.
  • Respond to emails, messages, and official enquiries professionally.
  • Support HR and administrative activities when needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company and visitor information.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times.

Educational Qualification and Experience

  • Candidates should possess an OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Mass Communication, Public Administration, Secretarial Studies, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in front desk, receptionist, customer service, administrative assistant, or office support role.
  • Experience in a corporate or training environment will be an added advantage.

  • Good organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and Google Workspace.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

  • Must be polite, smart, and well-organized.
  • Must have a professional appearance and good work ethics.
  • Must be punctual and reliable.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and respectfully.
  • Must be resident in Abuja or willing to work in Abuja.
  • Must be available to resume within a reasonable period if selected.

Remuneration
Salary is competitive and will be discussed based on experience and competence.
