Baker (Bread Production) at Lagos State University (LASU) Bakery and Confectionery

The Lagos State University (LASU), located at Ojo, was established as a Public University in 1983 by the enabling law of Lagos State. Job Title: Baker (Bread Production)

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake bread in accordance with established standards and production schedules.
• Mix, knead, proof, and bake dough using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Monitor oven conditions to ensure consistent product quality.
• Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, food safety, and quality control standards.
• Supervise bakery assistants and support efficient workflow in the production process.

Requirements

• Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or its equivalent.
• Relevant training or certification in baking will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of three (3) years' proven experience in bread production.
• Good knowledge of baking processes, ingredients, and bakery equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness and ability to work on shift duty, including early morning, late evening, and weekend shifts, as may be required.

Remunerations
Salary is competitive and in accordance with prevailing industry rates.
