Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Mowe / Ibafo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial reporting, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and supporting management with financial analysis for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage general ledger accountingand ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivableprocesses.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor company cash flow and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Prepare and file tax returns and statutory financial reports.
• Assist management in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Analyze financial data and provide strategic financial insightsto management.
• Supervise and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of financial records.
• Identify and implement process improvements in accounting operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• HND / Bachelor / MSc / MBA Degree in Accounting& Finance
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or ACAis an advantage.
• 7–10 years accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.

Salary
N700,000 - N1,000,000 monthly.
