Job Title: Production Officer

Location: Mowe, Ogun

Job Summary

• The Production Operator oversees daily production activities, operates processing equipment, monitors production parameters, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• The role supports the achievement of production targets while minimizing downtime and waste.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment, including pumps, mixers, reactors, conveyors, separators, storage tanks, and packaging machines.
• Start up, shut down, and adjust machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow rates, and product quality specifications.
• Engage in production, processing and packaging of goods at the manufacturing factory.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify equipment abnormalities or potential hazards.
• Record production data, equipment readings, and operational activities accurately.
• Ensure raw materials are available and transferred safely for production activities.
• Follow health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations at all times.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Participate in preventive maintenance activities and equipment changeovers.
• Report production deviations, incidents, and safety concerns promptly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements

• 5 years previous experience in manufacturing, refinery, blending and processing is preferred.
• Knowledge of production preparations, processes, equipment operation, and process control systems.
• Preferably Male applicants.

Working Conditions:

• Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Exposure to industrial environments with noise, heat, moving machinery, and chemicals.
• Mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• May require standing for extended periods and lifting materials within approved limits.
