We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrical / Electronics Technician (Elect-Elect)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description 

• The Elect-Elect Technician will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems, electronic components, IT hardware, and backup power systems (such as Inverters and UPS units).
• The ideal candidate must possess strong troubleshooting skills, a solid understanding of circuitry, and hands-on technical competence.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnostics & Repairs: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and component-level repair electronic circuit boards (PCBs), computer hardware, monitors, and power supply units.
• Power System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain alternative power systems, including solar inverters, UPS backup systems, and office distribution panels.
• Electrical Installations: Layout, assemble, install, and test electrical wiring, fixtures, and control equipment across office and client facility networks.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on company equipment and infrastructure to minimize downtime.
• Technical Reporting: Maintain clear, precise logs of all repairs, components used, and system maintenance schedules.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical and electronic works strictly adhere to regulatory safety standards and workplace hazard guidelines.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: NABTEB, OND, or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: 2–4 years of practical experience as an Elect-Elect Technician, workbench repairer, or field engineer.
• Technical Skills:
  • Deep familiarity with reading electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and blue-prints.
  • Expertise in using diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, soldering irons, and hot-air stations).
  • Strong knowledge of power surge protection, grounding, and inverter/battery management systems.
• Attributes: Analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the physical stamina to handle installations safely.
