Job Title: Public Relations Specialist

Description

• The Public Relations Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing strategic public relations initiatives that strengthen itel Energy's brand reputation, increase media visibility, and support business objectives.
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing corporate communications, media relations, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement within the energy, consumer electronics, telecommunications, or a closely related industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies aligned with the company's business and marketing objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media houses, influencers, and other key stakeholders.
• Draft and distribute press releases, media statements, speeches, newsletters, and other corporate communications.
• Identify media opportunities and secure positive coverage across print, broadcast, digital, and social media platforms.
• Plan and coordinate press conferences, product launches, corporate events, exhibitions, and media engagements.
• Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reports on brand visibility and public perception.
• Manage the company's corporate image and ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
• Support crisis communication planning and provide timely responses to reputational issues when required.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to amplify campaigns through PR activities.
• Develop thought leadership opportunities for company executives through interviews, speaking engagements, and industry events.
• Manage relationships with external PR agencies and communication partners where applicable.
• Track industry trends and competitor activities to identify communication opportunities.
• Ensure all public communications comply with company policies and brand guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or Brand Communications.
• Experience within the energy, renewable energy, power solutions, consumer electronics, telecommunications, or a related industry is required.
• Strong network of media contacts and demonstrated success in securing media coverage.
• Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
• Strong project management and event coordination skills.
