Job Description
- A Warehouse Manager in Olam Agri is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a warehouse facility, ensuring efficient inventory management, optimal space utilisation, and timely order fulfilment.
- The role involves managing the receiving, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods, while maintaining accuracy in inventory records and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- The incumbent collaborates with cross-functional teams to coordinate logistics, streamline warehouse processes, and support smooth manufacturing and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch
- Ensure accurate inventory management, stock reconciliation, and adherence to FIFO/FEFO principles
- Manage dispatch planning, documentation, and coordination with logistics teams
- Maintain ERP accuracy and ensure proper documentation and reporting
- Ensure product quality, safe storage conditions, and compliance with standards
- Drive operational efficiency through performance monitoring and continuous improvement
- Lead and supervise warehouse teams to achieve productivity and performance targets
- Enforce health, safety, and regulatory compliance across all warehouse activities.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience:
- 8 –10 years of experience in warehousing or supply chain management
- Strong experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, and distribution management
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional coordination and maintain efficient operations.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced Excel skills
- Solid understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse processes
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Effective leadership and team management skills
- Ability to foster a positive and productive work environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
