Carlson Hotel, a four-star hotel located at Ikoyi, Lagos, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Experienced Accountant (Hotel)

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Financial reporting and analysis:

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, profit and loss accounts, and balance sheets.
• Conduct financial analysis to assess profitability and provide recommendations.

Budgeting and forecasting:

• Assist in preparing annual budgets and business plans, including projected room revenue.

Transaction management:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, handle cash handling procedures, and reconcile bank statements.

Payroll and taxes:

• Administer payroll, ensure compliance with tax legislation, and prepare tax returns.

Auditing and compliance:

• Conduct internal audits on financial transactions and operations.Ensure the hotel complies with all financial laws, regulations, and accounting standards.

Cash flow management:

• Monitor cash flow, chase late payments, and report bad debts.

Salary
N200,000 monthly.
