We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Backend Engineer (Banking & NIBSS Integrations)

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve backend applications and APIs.
• Design and implement scalable and secure backend solutions.
• Work with databases and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with other developers and project teams.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Requirements

• 2+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one backend technology such as Node.js, Python, Java, C#, PHP, or Go.
• Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Good understanding of API development and system integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of software architecture and best practices.
