We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Inventory Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Role Overview

  • The Inventory Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle of stock at Alma's, from receipt and storage
  • through to the sales floor and replenishment. You will maintain tight stock controls, ensure the stockroom
  • operates at a high standard, and serve as the operational backbone of the business. During the launch
  • period, this role includes extended cross-functional support duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all incoming stock: receive, check, tag, and log deliveries accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and fully functional stockroom at all times
  • Operate and maintain the inventory management system, ensuring stock levels are always accurate
  • and up to date
  • Plan and execute regular stock counts, spot-checks, and full audits
  • Monitor stock movement and sell-through rates; coordinate replenishment from stockroom to floor
  • Flag slow-moving, damaged, or missing stock and escalate appropriately
  • Liaise with the Retail Manager / Buyer on stock requirements, reorders, and transfers
  • Manage returns, supplier credits, and inter-location transfers where applicable
  • Support store launch operations and additional duties as required during the opening period

Requirements

  • Degree or HND in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an inventory, stock, or operations role, ideally in fashion, retail, or FMCG
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory management systems
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and stock handling
  • Ability to manage physical workload, this is an active, hands-on role
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Reliable and process-driven with a low tolerance for stock discrepancies

Desirable:

  • Experience managing stockrooms across multiple locations
  • Familiarity with Nigerian retail logistics and supplier networks
