The Incorporated Trustees of Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organization [hereinafter referred to as “Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organization (WEWE)”], a local not-for-profit Non-Governmental Organization (NGO)

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Architect

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Contract

Qualifications / Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• Registration with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) is required.
• Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) is highly desirable.
• A Master's Degree in Architecture, Urban Design, Sustainable Design, Housing Development, or a related field will be an added advantage.
• Professional certifications in Project Management, Sustainable Building Design, Smart City Development, Green Building, or related disciplines will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 5–10 years of proven professional experience in architectural design, housing development, estate development, and construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience in the design and supervision of residential estates, housing schemes, mixed-use developments, or large-scale community development projects.
• Strong knowledge of building design, site planning, sustainable architecture, universal accessibility standards, and construction documentation.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, 3D Max, or similar applications.
