Job Description
- We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team at our Ogere Branch in Ogun State. The ideal candidate must possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent record-keeping skills, and the ability to manage financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting books.
- Prepare and manage subsidiary ledgers and general ledgers.
- Process financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow and financial activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.
- Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities when required.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification).
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Must have practical experience in preparing and maintaining Subsidiary Ledgers and General Ledgers.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Maximum age: 40 – 45 years.
Remuneration
- Basic Salary: N400,000 per month.
