Job Title: Forklift Operator / Driver

Description

• A Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating industrial trucks to load, unload, move, and stack materials in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, or shipping yards.
• They are the backbone of logistics, ensuring goods are efficiently transported while strictly adhering to workplace safety standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Safely drive and operate forklifts, automated pallet jacks, and other heavy lifting equipment.
• Loading and Unloading: Receive incoming deliveries and load outgoing shipments into tractor-trailers, rail cars, or cargo containers.
• Inventory Management: Transport, organize, and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, wrap, and label pallets according to customer shipping schedules.
• Inspections & Maintenance: Perform pre-shift equipment inspections, conduct basic maintenance (e.g., changing batteries, refueling), and report mechanical faults.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to strict health and safety protocols (such as OSHA guidelines) to prevent accidents, product damage, or injuries.

Salary
N180,000 - N200,000 per month.
