Job Title: Embedded Systems & IoT Engineer

Location: Lugbe, Abuja (On-Site)

Job Description 

• We are seeking a proficient Embedded Systems & IoT Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain embedded hardware and IoT-based solutions.
• The ideal candidate will have proven experience in circuit design, firmware development, sensor integration, wireless connectivity, and cloud integration for IoT platforms.
• The role requires hands-on engineering capabilities, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to take embedded products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize embedded systems for real-time control, monitoring, automation, and data acquisition.
• Develop circuit schematics, PCB layouts, and hardware interfaces for embedded applications.
• Write, test, and optimize firmware for micro-controllers such as ARM, ESP32, STM32, AVR, etc.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, and communication modules into embedded platforms.
• Implement IoT connectivity using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GSM/4G/5G, LoRa, or other wireless protocols.
• Interface embedded systems with cloud platforms for remote monitoring, analytics, and control.
• Conduct hardware and firmware debugging, testing, and validation.
• Ensure device reliability, low power consumption, and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with software and cloud teams on end-to-end IoT solution integration.
• Document designs, test results, and engineering changes for handover and future development.
