Job Title: Primary School Physical Health Education (PHE) Teacher
Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Physical and Health Education (PHE) lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
- Promote active participation and develop students' physical fitness and sports skills.
- Assess student performance using appropriate evaluation methods.
- Identify students' learning needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Create an engaging learning environment that supports student progress.
- Monitor and report student performance to the Head of Department and parents.
- Participate in meetings, training, and professional development activities.
- Stay current with developments in Physical Education and integrate best practices into lessons.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Kinetics or related field.
- Ability to tutor students with different sporting activities.
- Relevant teaching certification may be required.
- Able to use an interactive or smart board.
- 21st-century teaching skills.
- TRCN certification is an added advantage
