Job Title: Experienced Agronomist
Location: Ile Ife, Osun

Description
- We are seeking a smart and results-driven Agronomist to support and improve our agricultural operations.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise on crop production, soil management, pest control, and sustainable farming practices to optimize yield and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Personally carry out and supervise the planting of crops according to approved farm plans and schedules.
- Monitor crop growth and implement appropriate agronomic practices to maximize productivity.
- Conduct soil assessments and recommend suitable soil fertility management strategies.
- Develop and implement crop production programs.
- Manage irrigation, fertilization, pest, and disease control activities.
- Conduct regular field inspections and maintain accurate farm records.
- Train and supervise farm workers on proper crop management techniques.
- Analyze crop performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to sustainable and environmentally responsible farming practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, Soil Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in crop production and farm management.
- Ability to work extensively in the field and perform hands-on farming activities.
- Strong knowledge of soil fertility, crop nutrition, and integrated pest management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic agricultural data management tools.
