Job Title: Cement Pump Operator

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• We are looking for an experienced Cement Pump Operator to handle cement pumping on construction sites.
• The job involves setting up the pump, checking the machine before use, pumping cement safely, cleaning the pipes after work, and keeping the equipment in good condition.
• You will work with site teams to make sure cement is poured smoothly, on time, and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up the cement pump correctly at job sites
• Check the machine and safety parts before starting work
• Work with truck drivers to keep cement flowing into the pump
• Watch the pump during use to prevent blockages or faults
• Clean the pipes and pump after each job
• Follow all safety rules and make sure protective gear is used
• Report any machine problems or safety issues immediately
• Keep records of each job done
• Guide junior workers on safe pump operation

Requirements

• WAEC / NECO certificate
• Valid license to operate cement pump machines
• At least 4 years’ experience using cement or concrete pumps
• Nigerian driver’s license (for truck-mounted pumps)
• Certification in pump operation is an advantage
• Physically fit and able to work on busy construction sites
• Good knowledge of safety rules and machine handling
