Job Title: Registered Midwife

Location: Ughelli, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Midwife to provide high-quality maternal and newborn care.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting women during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the postnatal period while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of both mother and child.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to patients
  • Monitor and assess the condition of pregnant women and newborns
  • Assist in labor and delivery, ensuring safe and hygienic practices
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Educate patients on maternal and child health, breastfeeding, and family planning
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals
  • Ensure compliance with all clinical and safety standards

Requirements

  • Must be a Registered Midwife (RM) only
  • Valid practicing license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN)
  • 1 – 2 years post-qualification experience
  • Strong clinical and patient care skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • High level of professionalism and empathy.
