Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers 
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Accountant

About the Role

• The Account Officer will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with organizational accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Process financial transactions, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash management activities.
• Assist in payroll preparation and statutory remittances.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Verify invoices, payment vouchers, and expense claims.
• Support budgeting and forecasting exercises.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation for audit purposes.

Qualifications

• B.Sc ./ HND in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
• Minimum of 3 years relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: N250,000 – N300,000 Monthly.
