Job Title: Developer for Ghana e-Government Project - Accra, Ghana

Reports To: Team Leader/Project Manager

Accountabilities

- To work closely with the Business Analysts to understand and interpret clients requirements;
- To develop code according to specifications and house-style
- To undertake first level unit testing and to work closely with the client’s Test Unit and Quality Assurance department;

- To produce clear, comprehensive documentation of the code;
- To provide detailed help and advice to the Technical Authors;
- Ensure tasks are completed within the timeframe defined by the project plan.

Competencies
Code developed to a consistent and high standard that meets the timescales of the project plan The principal role of the jobholder is to work with other developers and in conjunction with the Business Analysts to configure the Clients COTS application TRIPS and develop additional client requested functionality and interfaces. The requirements will be developed and documented by the Client’s business analysts. The system is web based using Java, Object Oriented Programming, Oracle database, Enterprise Architect and Jaspersoft.
