Person & Responsibility
- The University Librarian is a Principal Officer of the University, responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration and management of the University Library and the coordination of Library services in the University
Requirements
The Candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- A good Honours Degree in Library and Information Science or related field from recognized University.
- A higher Degree and membership of recognized professional bodies will be an added advantage.
- Should not be more than sixty (60) years of age.
Experience:
- The candidate must have at least ten (10) years post-qualification academic and professional experience beginning from year of graduation.
Salary / Conditions of Service
- The salary and conditions of service are as obtainable in the Nigerian University system.
- The appointment will be for one term of five (5) years only.
