Job Title: Director Of Works & Services
Location: Uturu, Abia
Person & Responsibility
- The Director of Works & Services is the Head of the Works & Services Department of the University, responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the development and maintenance of the infrastructure, equipment and sundry utilities of the University.
Requirements
The Candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- A Degree / HND qualification in Engineering (Civil, Electrical or Mechanical) and be a registered member of the following professional bodies:
- Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN),
- Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
- A higher Degree in Engineering and a Fellowship of any of the above listed professional bodies will be an advantage.
- The candidate should be ICT literate and not more than sixty (60) years of age.
Experience:
- The candidate must have at least ten (10) years post-qualification experience.
Salary / Conditions of Service
- The salary and conditions of service shall be as obtainable in Nigerian University system.
The appointment will be for one term of five (5) years only.
