We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: NYSC Intern - Accountant

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Role Overview

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated NYSC corps member to join our team in an Accounting capacity.
• The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of basic accounting operations, is organised, reliable, and able to handle financial records with accuracy and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and proper documentation of invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and petty cash records
• Assist with expense tracking, reconciliations, and maintaining organised financial records
• Help ensure accurate filing and record-keeping for all financial documents
• Assist in preparing simple financial summaries and reports when required
• Perform other administrative and support duties as assigned to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

• Must be a currently serving NYSC corps member
• A degree (BA / BSc / HND) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Very strong analytical skills, especially in tracking financial data
• Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and any other accounting related software.
• Organised, reliable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion
