Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth initiatives within the Oil & Gas sector.
- The ideal candidate will leverage deep industry knowledge, strong commercial acumen, and an extensive network across the Nigerian Oil & Gas value chain to identify opportunities, secure new business, and expand market presence.
- This role requires a proven track record of winning high-value contracts, managing key stakeholder relationships, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across the Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream Oil & Gas sectors.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive market expansion, revenue growth, and competitive positioning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends, upcoming projects, and market developments to generate qualified business leads.
- Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, commercial bids, presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Lead the end-to-end business acquisition process, from opportunity identification through contract award and account management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client requirements and business objectives.
- Achieve agreed revenue targets and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Commercial Management, or a related function within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong understanding of Nigeria's Oil & Gas landscape, including Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream operations.
- Demonstrated success in securing and managing high-value contracts and strategic client relationships.
- Extensive professional network within the Nigerian Oil & Gas sector, including key industry stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, proposal development, and contract management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to work independently, drive business growth, and deliver results in a competitive environment.
Salary
N1,000,000 per month.
