We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Abuja

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, and services.
• Support the development and execution of business strategies.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Business Development Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Banking & Finance or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
• 2 to 3 years relevant experience in the field.
• Masters is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, etc.) and an eagerness to learn new business and AI-powered tools.

Requirements:

• Strong interest in business development, sales, and emerging market trends.
• Basic understanding of market research, client outreach, and customer relationship management.
• Willingness to research new industries and explore innovative methods for improving business efficiency.
• Familiarity with digital tools for presentations and reporting.
• Exposure to or interest in proposal writing, business presentations, and partnership development.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively within a team.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
