We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Business Development Officer
Location: Abuja
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, and services.
- Support the development and execution of business strategies.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Business Development Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Banking & Finance or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- 2 to 3 years relevant experience in the field.
- Masters is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, etc.) and an eagerness to learn new business and AI-powered tools.
Requirements:
- Strong interest in business development, sales, and emerging market trends.
- Basic understanding of market research, client outreach, and customer relationship management.
- Willingness to research new industries and explore innovative methods for improving business efficiency.
- Familiarity with digital tools for presentations and reporting.
- Exposure to or interest in proposal writing, business presentations, and partnership development.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively within a team.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
