Job Title: NYSC Intern - Social Media Manager / Content Creator

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

• We are looking for a creative and outgoing NYSC corps member to join our team as a Social Media Manager and Content Creator.
• The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling and digital content, confident in communication, and enjoys engaging with people online and offline.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, curate, and post approved content across social media platforms in line with brand guidelines
• Draft engaging captions and schedule posts to maintain a consistent online presence
• Respond promptly and professionally to comments, direct messages, and online enquiries
• Monitor social media channels, track engagement metrics, and provide insights to improve performance
• Support the development and maintenance of a content calendar to ensure timely updates
• Perform other administrative and support duties as assigned to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

• Must be a currently serving NYSC corps member
• A degree (BA / BSc / HND) in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Marketing, Arts, or any related field
• Demonstrable experience in social media management and content creation
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Express
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; must be confident and engaging
• Excellent written communication skills for drafting captions and online responses
• Strong computer literacy and adaptability to new tools and social media platforms
• Outgoing personality with the ability to multitask effectively
• A strong eye for aesthetics and attention to detail
