Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the organization's financial operations.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate accounting records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budgeting and audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and maintain financial records and statements.
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure accurate financial tracking.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Process payroll and related statutory deductions where applicable.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Recommend improvements to accounting procedures and internal controls.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or ICAN is preferred.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience (depending on the role level).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
