Job Title: Site Engineer

Role Overview

• HRLeverage Africa is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Site Engineer on behalf of its client in the construction industry.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising on-site construction activities, ensuring quality execution of projects, and coordinating effectively with contractors and stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within scope, and in compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction site activities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and prepare accurate site reports for management review.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
• Manage and optimize site resources including labour, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical or structural issues as they arise.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and cost control activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
• 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in construction project supervision.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction-related software is an added advantage.

Salary
N300,000 Net per month
