We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: ERP & Business Systems Officer

Overal Mission
General objective:

  • The ERP & Business Systems Officer will support the implementation, operation, optimisation and continuous improvement of NutriK’s ERP and digital business systems, including Odoo or equivalent platforms, by ensuring reliable system usage, accurate data, efficient business processes, timely user support and effective operational backing to the ERP Manager.

Responsibilities and Tasks
ERP Operations & User Support:

  • Provide day-to-day ERP support to users across Finance, Supply Chain, Production, Sales, Quality and related functions.
  • Resolve user issues, troubleshoot transaction errors and escalate complex technical or configuration matters to the ERP Manager or service provider.
  • Monitor system usage, transaction completion, user adoption and operational compliance with approved ERP processes.
  • Support smooth execution of ERP transactions, including procurement, inventory, production, sales, finance and reporting activities.

Business Process Execution & Optimisation:

  • Support the mapping, documentation and implementation of business workflows within the ERP system.
  • Assist in improving key processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Production, Inventory Management and financial closing.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, manual workarounds and system gaps, and propose practical automation or control improvements.
  • Work with departments to ensure ERP processes support operational efficiency, traceability and timely decision-making.

Data Management & Integrity:

  • Maintain accuracy and consistency of master data, including items, bills of materials, suppliers, customers, pricing and cost structures.
  • Perform periodic data checks, clean-ups, reconciliations and corrections in line with approved data governance standards.
  • Support data validation before uploads, migrations, configuration changes or reporting cycles.
  • Promote strong data discipline among users to reduce errors, duplication and incomplete transactions.

Reporting, Dashboards & Business Intelligence:

  • Generate operational, financial and management reports from ERP and supporting systems.
  • Support dashboard development and KPI tracking using Excel, Power BI, ERP reporting tools or other approved platforms.
  • Assist departments with report interpretation, data extraction and decision-support analysis.
  • Ensure reports are timely, accurate, complete and aligned with business needs.

User Training, Documentation & Change Support:

  • Train end-users on ERP modules, workflows, transaction procedures and good system practices.
  • Develop and update SOPs, user guides, manuals, quick-reference notes and process documentation.
  • Support onboarding of new employees by providing ERP orientation and role-based user guidance.
  • Encourage adoption of standard processes and reduce dependency on informal or manual practices.

System Integration, Controls & Continuous Improvement:

  • Support integration between ERP and related digital tools, including WMS, inventory systems, CRM, sales tools and production tracking systems.
  • Assist in testing system updates, new modules, workflow changes and automation initiatives.
  • Support ERP controls relating to user access, segregation of duties, approval workflows, transaction traceability and audit trails.
  • Assist in preparing ERP evidence, reports and records for internal audits, external audits, NAFDAC reviews, donor requirements and financial audits.

Required Skills

  • Education degree – Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or a related field.
  • Work experience – Minimum of 2–5 years’ experience supporting ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle or equivalent platforms.
  • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, industrial operations, multi-entity environments or supply chain operations is preferred.
  • Computer skills – Advanced Excel skills are mandatory. Proficiency in ERP platforms, Microsoft Office tools, Power BI, ERP reporting tools and basic SQL or data handling is an added advantage.
  • Language skills – English.

Other required skills:

  • Good knowledge of ERP concepts, business workflows, master data, reporting, dashboards and user support principles.
  • Ability to troubleshoot ERP issues, analyse data, prepare reports, document processes and support users across multiple departments.
  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, accountability, problem-solving mindset and continuous improvement orientation.
  • Clear communication skills, patience, service orientation and ability to work under pressure while prioritising support requests effectively.
