Job Title: Market & Data Analyst
Location: Dangote Cement, Zambia
Main Responsibilities
- Gather and Synthesize Market & Competitor Intelligence to support strategy formulation and execution
- Support Monthly & Weekly Forecasting & Demand Planning
- Pricing Monitoring & Margin Analysis across domestic and export markets
- Own Daily, Weekly and Monthly Performance Measurement & Reporting at Country and Group Level
- Own Customer & Segment Analysis to inform strategic and tactical interventions
- Develop & Implement a robust Data Strategy including automation and modelling
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Business, Economics, Statistics or a related discipline.
- Four (4) to five (5) years relevant work experience.
- Full Grade 12 School Certificate
- Advanced Proficiency in PowerBI
- Advanced Proficiency Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & MySQL.
Skills and Behaviours:
- Basic understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislations relating to the cement manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge of DCP’s product and service offerings.
- Strong administration skills – organised, thorough, and able to effectively leverage technology with attention to detail.
- Very good communication skills.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office Word and Excel.
