Job Title: Facility Manager 

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

The Opportunity

  • As the Facility Manager, you will be responsible for the seamless management and maintenance of properties and infrastructure at our Victoria Island, Lagos location.
  • This strategic yet hands-on role demands a competent, organised professional who can drive operational efficiency, enforce safety compliance, and deliver cost-effective facility management across a dynamic real estate and consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the maintenance of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure
  • Manage facility services, including security, cleaning, utilities, and waste disposal
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
  • Negotiate and oversee service contracts with vendors
  • Monitor budgets and ensure cost efficiency in facility operations
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Prepare facility management reports and recommendations

Candidate Profile: What We Are Looking For

  • Education: HND or B.Sc. Degree in Estate Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
  • Experience: 3 – 6 years of proven experience in facility management
  • Technical Knowledge: Sound understanding of building systems, mechanical and electrical operations
  • Project & Vendor Management: Strong ability to manage service contracts, timelines, and multi-vendor relationships
  • Technology: Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple sites simultaneously
  • Leadership: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure
