Job Title: Traffic Control Attendant
Location: Obajana Plant, Kogi
Job Summary
- The Traffic Control Attendant is responsible for controling traffic to enable free movement of trucks across the plant.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily arrangement of trucks accordingly, in and out of the plant for loading to avoid congestion.
- Direct and arrange trucks as where to load in packing plant according to loading bay.
- Arrange and send loaded trucks at tarmac to weighbridge for scale out after tying tarpaulin.
- Monitor trucks on queue that are loading or loaded, not to block existing road and other trucks movement.
- Arrange and monitor break down trucks at the weighbridge, packing plant and other areas of the plant.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing inbound and outbound trucks outside the plant gate are adequately arranged, parked for free flow of trucks movement.
- Hourly trucks report updates for trucks in packing plant.
- Implement approved plant HSE policies and procedures.
- Strict compliance of company policies and procedures.
- Any other responsibility that may be assigned by immediate supervisor.
Requirements
- Mininum of SSCE.
- Three (3) years relevant work experience.
- Ability to pay attention to details.
- Good communication skills.
