Job Title: Nautical Instructor

Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: training Manager

Job Summary

• We seek a highly experienced Expatriates or local Nautical Instructor, preferably a retired Master with a Certificate of Competency (CoC), to join our maritime training institute.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in classroom training and be able to deliver high-quality instruction to students.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom training and assessments for maritime students
• Develop and update course materials to meet STCW and regulatory requirements
• Provide guidance and mentorship to students
• Conduct assessments and evaluations of student performance
• Collaborate with other instructors to ensure consistency and quality of training
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes

Requirements

• Retired Master with valid CoC
• Minimum 5 years of classroom training experience in a maritime training program
• Strong knowledge of STCW regulations and maritime industry standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs

Desirable:

• Experience with online learning platforms and digital tools
• Familiarity with Nigerian maritime regulations and industry practices
