Job Title: Quality & HSE Officer

Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality & HSE Officer to oversee quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining product quality, promoting workplace safety, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance:

• Conduct routine quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Monitor production processes and identify quality issues or non-conformities.
• Investigate quality-related complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation.
• Support the development and implementation of quality management systems.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
• Organize safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees.
• Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce safety standards.
• Maintain HSE records and prepare periodic reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Chemistry, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, HSE, or a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and HSE regulations.
• Professional certifications such as HSE Level 1–3, NEBOSH, ISPON, or related certifications will be an added advantage.

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 Gross monthly.
