Zino Aviation are a Pilot Training, Aviation Management & Consultancy firm offering a wide range of services such as advisory, consultancy, courses, flight training and career management services for aspiring pilots. We provide the necessary tools and expertise to help aspiring pilots go from zero knowledge about flying, to sitting in the cockpit flying for a top airline. We also provide management and logistic services for governments, airlines, and organisations seeking to train pilots.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Marketing, Communications & Brand

Description

  • Zino Group is seeking a highly creative, strategic, commercially minded, and results-driven Head of Marketing, Communications & Brand to lead all marketing, communications, branding, public relations, content, media, and audience growth activities across the Group’s growing portfolio of companies.
  • This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping how the Group and its various companies are perceived by the public, clients, partners, investors, media, and stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing, communications, and brand strategies that strengthen brand awareness, enhance reputation, drive audience engagement, generate leads, support revenue growth, and position the Group as a leader within its respective industries.
  • This role goes far beyond traditional marketing. 
  • The successful candidate will act as the guardian of the Group’s brands, ensuring consistency, quality, professionalism, and excellence across every touchpoint. They will oversee how the Group communicates internally and externally, how its brands are positioned within the marketplace, and how its leaders and businesses are represented publicly.
  • We are seeking someone who combines strategic thinking with exceptional execution capability.
  • The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable developing high-level brand strategies, managing campaigns, overseeing content production, engaging with media, building communication frameworks, analysing performance metrics, and leading creative and marketing teams.

  • The successful candidate will work closely with leadership to strengthen brand positioning, increase visibility, drive growth, improve customer acquisition, build audience trust, and create world-class brands capable of scaling internationally.

Key Responsibilites
Brand Strategy & Brand Management:

  • Develop and oversee brand strategies across all Group companies.
  • Define and strengthen brand positioning.
  • Ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints.
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines and standards.
  • Protect and strengthen brand reputation.
  • Oversee visual identity, messaging, tone of voice, and brand consistency.
  • Support the creation of premium, globally competitive brands.

Marketing Strategy & Audience Growth:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across all Group companies.
  • Create marketing plans aligned with growth and commercial objectives.
  • Increase brand awareness and market visibility.
  • Drive audience growth across digital and offline channels.
  • Support customer acquisition initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen market positioning.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity.

Communications & Corporate Messaging:

  • Develop communication frameworks and messaging strategies.
  • Oversee internal and external communications.
  • Ensure messaging remains clear, consistent, and aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Manage major announcements, launches, campaigns, and public communications.
  • Support stakeholder communication initiatives.
  • Strengthen communication standards across the Group.

Public Relations & Media Relations:

  • Develop and execute public relations strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media houses, publishers, influencers, and industry commentators.
  • Identify media opportunities that increase visibility and credibility.
  • Manage press releases, interviews, media engagements, and public announcements.
  • Support reputation management initiatives.
  • Position Group companies and leadership as respected industry voices.

Content Strategy & Thought Leadership:

  • Develop and oversee content strategies across all businesses.
  • Lead content creation initiatives across written, visual, audio, and video formats.
  • Oversee blogs, newsletters, social media content, articles, interviews, podcasts, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Identify stories and content opportunities that strengthen engagement and brand awareness.
  • Support executive and founder personal branding initiatives.
  • Ensure content aligns with business objectives and brand standards.

Digital Marketing Oversight:

  • Oversee digital marketing strategy and execution.
  • Manage the Digital Marketing Manager and broader marketing personnel.
  • Ensure effective execution of campaigns across websites, social media, email marketing, SEO, paid advertising, and digital platforms.
  • Monitor campaign performance and return on investment.
  • Support conversion optimisation and lead generation initiatives.
  • Develop data-driven marketing strategies that improve results.

Artificial Intelligence & Marketing Innovation:

  • Leverage AI tools to improve marketing effectiveness and productivity.
  • Use AI to support content creation, market research, customer insights, campaign development, audience segmentation, and automation.
  • Identify opportunities to automate marketing workflows.
  • Stay informed on developments in AI and emerging technologies.
  • Recommend and implement AI-powered marketing systems.
  • Help position the Group as an innovative and forward-thinking organisation.

Team Leadership & Performance Management:

  • Lead, manage, mentor, and develop marketing personnel.
  • Build and scale high-performing marketing and communications teams.
  • Establish KPIs, targets, and performance expectations.
  • Conduct regular reviews and performance evaluations.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop future marketing talent.
  • Create systems and processes that support scalable marketing operations.

Events, Partnerships & Brand Representation:

  • Support corporate events, launches, conferences, exhibitions, networking engagements, and public-facing initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Group Growth & Partnerships team on strategic initiatives.
  • Identify partnership opportunities that strengthen brand visibility.
  • Represent the Group professionally where required.

Reporting & Marketing Intelligence:

  • Develop marketing dashboards and reporting systems.
  • Track campaign performance and key marketing metrics.
  • Analyse customer behaviour and audience trends.
  • Provide regular updates and recommendations to leadership.
  • Monitor brand health and reputation.
  • Make data-driven decisions that improve marketing performance and ROI.

Preferred Skills
Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in marketing, communications, branding, public relations, digital marketing, media, or related fields.
  • Candidates with 6–10 years of relevant experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum 2 years of team leadership or management experience.
  • Proven track record of building brands, leading campaigns, managing communications, and driving audience growth.
  • Experience working across multiple products, services, or business units is advantageous.
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.

Existing Network & Industry Relationships (Advantageous):

  • While not mandatory, candidates with existing professional networks, media relationships, or industry connections may have an advantage in this role.
