We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Officer / Marking Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly motivated and result-driven Business Development Officer / Marketing Officer to help drive seller acquisition, partnerships, customer engagement, and business growth for Bazaa Live.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, relationship-building, sales, and marketing skills, with a passion for startups, technology, and digital commerce.
• Applicants residing within or close to Ikeja and its surrounding areas will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new sellers, vendors, and business partners onto the Bazaa Live platform.
• Develop and execute marketing and customer acquisition strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, creators, and influencers.
• Generate leads and convert prospects into active platform users.
• Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to prospective sellers.
• Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events.
• Assist in organizing promotional campaigns and activation programs.
• Collaborate with the product and operations teams to improve seller experience.
• Track sales activities and submit periodic performance reports.
• Meet assigned business development and onboarding targets.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or related fields.
• Previous experience in sales, marketing, customer acquisition, or business development is an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
• Good knowledge of social media and digital marketing.
• Passion for startups, innovation, and technology.
• Must reside within Ikeja, Maryland, Ogba, Agege, Allen, Opebi, Computer Village, Ketu, Magodo, or nearby areas for easy commuting.
