Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our shipping and logistics company.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, managing receivables and payables, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting management with financial analysis and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor logistics and shipping-related costs and expenses.
• Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Assist with audits and financial controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ICAN/ACCA certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3–5 years' accounting experience, preferably in shipping, logistics, or transportation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Salary
N350,000 - N400,000 monthly.
